Katherine M. "Kitty" Arnold

April 3, 1927 - November 16, 2020

Kitty Arnold has passed into eternity. Kitty was a valued member of the BOTMA staff and could generally be found at the ticket table. She loved the music and she was loved by all.

Kitty's Obituary

Katherine (Kitty) Marie Arnold, 93, of West Keansburg, NJ went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2020. Kitty was born in Jersey City, NJ to Mary Bridgewater Daniels and Theodore Daniels on April 2, 1927.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Mary and Theodore Daniels, her husband, Joseph Charles Arnold, and her brother, Theodore Daniels.

She married Joseph Charles Arnold of Jersey City in 1946. They had three children, Mary Jean (Jerry) Johnson of Howell, NJ, Joseph Charles Arnold (Martha) of Hudgins, VA, and Kathleen Mary (Benny) Cala of West Keansburg, NJ.

She is survived by her Brother, Frank Daniels of West Keansburg, NJ and her three Children. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, Rudy and Richard (Tina) Bastin, Rob Johnson, Dusty (Rebah) and Shane (Robie) Nettik, James (Sheri) Arnold, Nick Cala, and Chrissy (Diego) Valencia. She has 13 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Kitty grew up in Jersey City where she often rode her father’s horses with her brothers. She was active in St. Aloysius school system in Jersey City while her children attended school there. She and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Daniels owned and operated the West Side Card and Yarn Store on West Side Avenue for many years. She moved to West Keansburg, 20 years ago where she lived with her daughter, Kathy and her family.

She was a member of the Church of St. Ann of Keansburg. She was also an active member of several senior organizations in Keansburg. Kitty loved her family, her precious grandchildren, and her many friends. She delighted in playing cards and games and in the past going on trips with her senior friends. She spent many years going to the “Dude Ranch” where she often rode a horse well into her 60’s.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all. May you Rest In Peace, Kitty.
